Hollow Hive — Support

Hollow Hive is a relaxing idle game: tap a mound to forage grain, add castes that bring it in automatically, release the swarm for a burst, and send a nuptial flight for a permanent boost. There is no timer, no ads in the game and nothing to buy. If something is not behaving, here is the short list — and a human address at the bottom.

How to play

Tap the mound to forage your first grain. Spend it on castes — foragers, scent trails, leafcutters, fungus farms, aphid pastures, brood nurseries, tunnel networks and the queen's chamber — and each one brings in grain every second, so production runs on its own. Keeping more of a caste reaches milestones that double its output, and the ×1 / ×10 / Max buttons let you buy in bulk.

The swarm

What is the meter under the numbers? Foraging by hand fills it — thirty taps. Press Release and the whole colony produces triple for thirty seconds. It is optional: the colony grows fine without it, and it never fills on its own, so nothing is lost by ignoring it. It does not run while the app is closed — away time is always paid at the normal rate.

Offline foraging and nuptial flights

Does it keep going while it's closed? Yes — that is the point. When you come back, the grain your colony brought in while you were away is banked for you, up to a larder cap you can raise with an upgrade.

What does a nuptial flight do? When a colony is big enough, you can send its queens out. You lose the castes but keep the queens, and every queen makes your next colony grow faster, permanently. Each run is quicker than the last — it is the long-term hook, not a punishment.

Common questions

Do I need an internet connection? No. Everything runs on the device, so the game works in airplane mode. Your progress stays on your device. See the privacy policy for details.

Where did my progress go? It lives only on the device, with no account and no cloud backup. Deleting the app, or using Reset progress in Settings, erases it permanently and it cannot be restored from our side. A new phone starts fresh.

Can I change the look? Settings → Appearance. It can follow your phone, or be pinned to light or dark.

Can I turn off sound or haptics? Yes — both have their own switches in Settings.

Are there ads or things to buy? Neither. No ad is ever shown while you play, and there is no purchase, no subscription and no paywall anywhere — queens and upgrades are earned by playing.
